Dr. Anthony Porretta has been a respected and accomplished Ophthalmologist in metro Detroit for many years.
A graduate of Marquette UniversityMedical School, Dr. Porretta completed a residency in Ophthalmology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. He was board certified in Ophthalmology in 1974. Dr. Porretta has been a leader in the Detroit Ophthalmology community. He has served as Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology at Providence Hospital inSouthfield and Chief of Surgery at the Farmbrook Medical Facility inSouthfield, Michigan.
Dr. Porretta has concentrated his practice in cosmetic and functional eyelid surgery. He has preformed thousands of procedures of 30 years providing advanced surgical techniques and achieving wonderful results. He brings years of experience to the treatment of glaucoma, diabetic eye disease and macular degeneration.
