As a medical office, we have one simple objective in mind: making sure that our patients and staff are always safe! This objective has been at the center of creating policies and procedures that will ensure the safety and well-being of all people that walk through our front doors.

As of now, our practice is open for business for our patients who feel well and are healthy. We ask that if you have any of the following symptoms that you reschedule your appointment and stay home to ensure the safety of our staff, and the other families we serve: if you have had a fever within the last 24 hours, stomach virus, cough, and if you have recently traveled or have been exposed to a known contact with the COVID-19. We know these appointments can be something patients look forward to and having to reschedule can be disappointing. We will do our best to fit you in on a different date that suits your schedule. We appreciate your flexibility.

We are working diligently to get our patients in for the healthcare they may have missed due to the government shut down. As such, please be patient as we try to work these appointments into our schedule while still following CDC guidelines for social distancing.

All persons are required to wear a mask or face covering, and have their temperature cleared for entry. We have heightened our sanitizing and cleaning procedures throughout our office, we offer hand sanitizer and hand washing sinks in many locations at our office. Sanitizing wipes are always in reach for our staff so we can keep the office continuously clean before and after each patient we see.
We know this is a stressful and unpredictable time – we will get through this together!

Stay healthy and Safe,

Your Bergman Porretta Eye Center Team
